You're drawing faces more by feel than by proportion yet... and that's the first step, . But if you want to get better, you have to go with a slightly less intuitive method. Here's a decent tutorial rapidfireart.com/2015/12/07/ho…
What you will be doing is creating a frame, based on the study of human proportions, and you will draw your subject's features in place relating to how anatomical science has determined that they work best. It really is a much better system for the student to use than trying to pull a fully-formed face from your mind and getting it onto paper only by eyeballing the face as it is being drawn.
Take a good look through that site - there are some great tutorials.
